 Boyd Taylor

Managing Partner/Chief Executive Officer 

Boyd graduated in 1986 from N.C. State University with a BS degree from the school of Textiles. After graduation, he progressed through numerous executive Management jobs, with his most recent responsibility being VP Manufacturing for a $150 million Manufacturing Company. 

His areas of expertise were Lean manufacturing, cost savings, and management of profitable operations through efficiency/productivity. After leaving the corporate world in 2002, Mr. Taylor proceeded to establish numerous businesses, from Real estate acquisition and management to Commercial Service Companies. 

Today, the Real estate arm of these companies is his primary focus with the control over Millions of square feet of Manufacturing/warehouse space, hundreds of acres of raw land, and the development of numerous vacation/resort properties.


 

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. W. Kelly Bowman

Managing Partner/President

Dr. Bowman was born in Statesville, NC. Mr. Taylor and Dr. Bowman attended grade school through high school together and both attended North Carolina State University. Dr. Bowman completed his BS in Industrial Engineering with honors. 

With Westinghouse, Black & Decker, and Carolina Power & Light, Dr. Bowman gained extensive experience in manufacturing, consulting, and management services. Dr. Bowman has served as a Hazardous Materials Instructor with the N.C. State Industrial Extension Service and has published chapters in Underground and Above Ground Storage Tanks. Dr. Bowman has lectured and conducted training in environmental contamination and remediation. 

He completed his Medical Doctorate at East Carolina University School of Medicine and is board certified in Family Medicine. He serves as Medical Director of outpatient clinics and as an Emergency Medical Services consultant for Health Central Hospital Orlando, Florida. Dr. Bowman also serves on the Florida Choice Bank Board of Directors, Orlando, Florida. 

Dr. Bowman is extremely excited about the future of Baymor Properties. He feels Baymor has assembled an elite team of individuals to analyze, acquire and maximize an array of real estate opportunities.

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Lisa Taylor
Managing Partner/Chief Financial Officer/Project Manager

Lisa graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a BS in Engineering. Her corporate career consisted of positions in Finance, Quality, Engineering, Software Development, Systems Implementation and personnel management. 

The experience gained through these positions allows Lisa to serve as Baymor Properties’ Chief Financial Officer. In addition, Lisa’s project management experience is put to good use in evaluating all prospective projects for the organization and keeping the team focused on prioritization of current projects.

Dr. Kelly Taylor
Managing Partner

Dr. Taylor grew up in Jacksonville, NC where her family owned and operated a motel for 14 years. She attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she received a BS in Chemistry with honors. She gained experience in gas and liquid chromatography while working in pharmaceutical quality control at Applied Analytical, Wilmington, NC. 

Dr. Taylor received her Medical Doctorate from East Carolina University School of Medicine and completed her Family Medicine Residency at Florida Hospital, Orlando, FL. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and has practiced all facets of family medicine in her practice. She is married to Dr. Kelly Bowman and they have two children.

Fred B. Amos II, J.D., MBA

Chief Counsel/Project Manager

Fred graduated from N.C. State University in 1992 with a BA in Political Science. In 1998 Fred earned his law degree from Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law and his Masters in Business Administration from Campbell University’s Lundy-Fetterman School of Business. 

Fred also has his North Carolina real estate broker’s license and is a member of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors. After working with a law firm in Wake Forest, North Carolina, and established his own firm in 2002. Fred’s law practice concentrated in the areas of commercial and residential real estate transactions, zoning, and land use planning. Through his practice, Fred developed strong contacts with builders, developers, mortgage bankers, real estate agents, engineers, appraisers, and many others involved in or related to the real estate industry. Through various partnerships, Fred owns and operates several real estate related businesses. 

In October 2005, Fred seized the opportunity to work with his good friends at Baymor. Fred acts as Chief Counsel advising the company on the various legal issues that arise in the everyday operation of a fast-paced, diverse real estate business. Fred is also a project manager for the company working on, among other things, site evaluation, property management and leasing.
